It’s been a rainy springtime, and we’re going see more rain tonight and into tomorrow morning.
A flash flood watch goes into effect at 6 p.m. for our area, as showers and thunderstorms are expected to produce two to four inches of rain starting this afternoon. The showers will be light to moderate at the beginning, but will get heavier and contain gusty winds as the night progresses.
Friday will bring thunderstorms and gusty winds during the day, but things will calm down and some showers will persist through Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
It’ll be sunny on Saturday with highs in the low 70s and sunny on Sunday with highs in the high 60s.
