Connolly calls for Jessie

In the only School Board seat up for grabs in Prince William County, Congressman Gerry Connolly (who is also running for reelection) recorded a robo call for Occoquan School Board candidate Lillie Jessie.

Jessie faces three other opponents, including appointed Republican incumbent Micheal Wooten.

Residents in the area should hear the phone call today. The text of the call is below:

Hi, this is Congressman Gerry Connolly calling to remind you that tomorrow is Election Day and

to let you know that, in addition to the elections for President, Senate, and Congress, you will

also be voting to elect your local School Board member. Democrat Lillie Jessie is a retired

Prince William County principal, with real experience balancing budgets and helping our kids

succeed. So please remember to support the entire Democratic ticket tomorrow — Obama,

Kaine, Connolly, and Lillie Jessie for School Board. Polls are open from 6am-7pm
