On August 24, officers responded to multiple residential shootings in Woodbridge, where gunfire struck homes on Yawl Court, Lost Colony Drive, and Minnie Court, leading to the arrest of an 18-year-old man, who faces charges including nine counts of attempted aggravated malicious wounding and three counts each of shooting into an occupied dwelling and using a firearm in the commission of a felony, with no reported injuries or additional property damage.

Attempted Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On August 24 at 3:46AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5100 block of Yawl Ct. in [Woodbridge area(22193)] to investigate a shots fired call which struck the home. A short time later, officers were informed of a second shots fired call in the 6100 block of Lost Colony Dr. involving another residence struck by gunfire. During the investigation, officers identified a suspect known to residents in both homes and who was believed to be involved in both incidents. Officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused and began seeking his whereabouts. Later that evening, officers responded to a third residential shooting in the 5600 block of Minnie Ct. also involving the accused. Officers eventually located the accused in the area of Roundtree Dr. where he was detained without incident. No injuries or additional property damage were reported at any of the incident locations. Multiple shell casings were recovered. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Caden Sebastian MILLER, was arrested. Detectives also executed a search warrant at the residence of the accused where evidence was recovered.

Area police have a message for the public: Slow down in school zones because school is back in session. Prince William County Police officers were out in force this week to encourage motorists to slow down in the posted school zones.
Lt. Jonathan Perok said, “School zone safety is a serious concern that impacts students, school staff, parents, and the broader community. Enforcement in these areas is one-way police can assist in ensuring the speed through these zones during critical times is followed. Drivers and pedestrians alike are urged to follow posted signs, avoid distractions, and plan extra time in their commute, especially during this transitional back-to-school period.”

Police are investigating a fatal incident where a vehicle, found engulfed in flames at the intersection of Old Bridge Rd. and Occoquan Rd. in Woodbridge, had a driver who died at the scene after allegedly placing gasoline in the passenger compartment before the crash; the investigation is ongoing.

Death Investigation – On August 23 at 6:50PM, officers responded to the intersection of Old Bridge Rd. and Occoquan Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) for initial reports of a vehicle crash. Upon arrival one vehicle was located engulfed in flames. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased on scene. Preliminary investigation revealed the deceased had placed gasoline in the passenger compartment of their vehicle just prior to the crash, causing the fire inside of the vehicle. The fire, as well as the cause and manner of death, is still under investigation. The identity of the deceased will be released pending identification and next-of-kin notification. More information will be released when available. Anyone who may have information that can aid in the investigation is asked to contact the police. The investigation continues.

The Prince William County Police Department is urgently seeking public assistance to locate Caleb Anthony Beer, a missing endangered adult last contacted on April 6, known to frequent areas in Culpeper, Stafford, Woodbridge, and Dumfries, with his safety currently in question due to undisclosed reasons.
*MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT: The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Caleb Anthony BEER who was reported missing by family members on April 19. Family members became concerned after not hearing from Caleb for several days with the last known contact with Caleb being on April 6. During the ongoing investigation, additional information was recently obtained by detectives leading to increased concern for Caleb’s wellbeing and has prompted him to now be considered endangered. Currently, it is undetermined if Caleb is missing due to voluntary reasons, or possible foul play. Caleb is unhoused and known to frequent Culpeper, Stafford, Woodbridge, and Dumfries, and unhoused encampment areas. Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of this person or information that can otherwise aid in the investigation is asked to contact Prince William County police at 703-792-6500 or your local police department.

Officers responded to a stabbing at Elevations One Apartments in Woodbridge, where a 33-year-old woman was stabbed in the arm while attempting to intervene in a fight between two women, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries.

Stabbing Investigation – On August 22 at 9:59AM, officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 10400 block of Bellona Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed the victim, a 33-year-old woman, attempted to intervene in a physical fight between two unknown women. During the encounter, the victim was stabbed in the arm by one of the women before the parties separated. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury where police were contacted. The suspects were described as black females, approximately 5’8”, with small builds.
Officers responded to an armed robbery at Castro Bakery on Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge where an unidentified man implied he had a weapon, stole money from the register, and fled; no weapon was seen, and no injuries were reported.

Armed Robbery — On August 21 at 3:42PM, officers responded to Castro Bakery located at 14556 Potomac Mills Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the bakery and implied he had a weapon before walking behind the service counter. The employees ran out of the store and contacted the police. The suspect took money from the cash register before leaving the business. No weapon was seen, and no injuries were reported.

Police found a decomposed body in the woods near the Featherstone Square Shopping Center. They are investigating.

Death Investigation – On August 21 at 9:21PM, officers responded to the 1700 block of Featherstone Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a death. The investigation revealed the body of a presumed adult male was found in a wooded area near the above location. The body was in a decomposed state and transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to confirm the identity and determine the cause of death. At this time, there is no threat to the community concerning the death. More information will be released as necessary. The investigation continues.

German Joseth Torres Lizama was identified as a suspect in connection to the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman in the area of Pineview Road and Cregger Lane on July 18. Following the investigation, it is believed that the suspect and woman knew one another and planned to meet at the location. Attempts to locate Torres Lizama have been unsuccessful, and Prince William County Police encourage anyone with information to contact the department.

Murder Investigation *SUSPECT WANTED – Detectives have identified a suspect sought in connection to the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman during an encounter that occurred in the area of Pineview Rd and Cregger Ln in Manassas (20111) on July 18. The investigation revealed the suspect and victim were known to one another and the altercation is believed to have occurred during a planned meeting at the location. Additionally, the 2017 blue Hyundai Elantra sports edition that was initially being sought in connection with the investigation was previously recovered in Fairfax County
