On September 26, officers near Manassas attempted to detain Jaime Antoni Villatoro Santos, who actively resisted and assaulted an officer. He was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and obstruction of justice.

Dale City Teen Missing

 

The Prince William County Police Department is seeking help in locating missing juvenile Phoenix Marsalis Lewis, who left his home on Pearson Dr. on September 25, 2024. He is known to frequent the Sable Ct. and Portal Ct. areas of Dale City, and anyone with information is urged to contact local authorities.

The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered juvenile, Phoenix Marsalis LEWIS. The investigation revealed Phoenix left his home on Pearson Dr. in the [Dale City] area of Prince William County and was reported missing on September 25. During the ongoing investigation, detectives received additional information which has prompted Phoenix to now be considered endangered. He is known to frequent the Sable Ct. and Portal Ct. areas of Woodbridge. Phoenix Marsalis LEWIS is described as a black male, 17 years of age, 5’9”, and 140lbs, with black hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored Puffer-style coat, dark-colored pants, and carrying a blue duffle bag.

On September 25, investigators charged Lesly Miraya-Mayuri, 21, with DUI manslaughter following a fatal crash on September 13 near Woodbridge that killed a passenger, Elvis Gabriel Alvarez, 23, and injured a Woodbridge woman. The accused was found to be intoxicated and driving the wrong way when the collision occurred, and has a court date set for October 9, 2024.

The crash killed a 23-year-old male passenger inside the same vehicle, and seriously injured the driver of another vehicle. The investigation revealed the driver, identified as the accused, was intoxicated and driving the wrong direction on Caton Hill Rd before impacting the other vehicle. Following the investigation, the accused identified as Lesly MIRAYA-MAYURI, was arrested.

Fatal Crash Investigation [Previously Released] – On September 13 at 6:07AM, crash investigators
responded to the area of Caton Hill Rd near Killarney Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a
crash. The investigation revealed the driver of a black 4-door 2017 Toyota Camry was traveling the
opposite direction northbound in the southbound lanes when the vehicle collided head-on with a
2015 Toyota Corolla that was traveling southbound. Both occupants in the Camry were not wearing
seatbelts at the time of the crash. The passenger in the Camry was transported to an area hospital
where he later died from his injuries sustained in the collision. Both drivers were also transported
to area hospitals with serious injuries. Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have
witnessed this crash, or the driving behavior of the driver in the black 4-door 2017 Toyota
Camry involved in the collision, to contact police.

On September 25, crash investigators charged 21-year-old Lesly Miraya-Mayuri with DUI manslaughter following a fatal crash that occurred on September 13 on Caton Hill Rd near Killarney Dr in Woodbridge. Detectives are investigating a murder-suicide incident where Davaughn Jamaal Henderson, 33, and Ashleigh Kaylynn Cash, 30, both from Dumfries, were found dead from gunshot wounds inside a residence on Fort Monroe Circle in Dumfries on August 7.

The investigation suggests that Henderson shot Cash and then himself following an altercation between the two, who were in a relationship. The event is believed to be domestic in nature. A firearm was recovered at the scene, and police are continuing their investigation, seeking any additional information from the public.

Murder/Suicide Investigation *DECEASED IDENTIFIED | INCIDENT DETAILS – Detectives are continuing to investigate the deaths of two adults who were found deceased inside a residence located in the 1900 block of Fort Monroe Cr in Dumfries (22026) on August 7. The preliminary investigation has revealed an acquaintance had gone to the residence and contacted police after locating the two deceased. At this time, investigators believe an altercation had escalated between the two deceased parties who were reportedly involved in a relationship. During the encounter, one of the parties, identified as Davaughn Jamaal HENDERSON, is believed to have shot the female victim, Ashleigh Kaylynn CASH, before shooting himself. Death Investigation [Previously Released] – On August 7 at 9:56PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1900 block of Fort Monroe Cr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a death. When officers arrived at the home, two individuals, a 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, were located inside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. Both parties were known to one another and pronounced dead on scene. At this time, the incident appears isolated to the residence and there is no active threat to the community. The identities of the deceased will be released pending next-of-kin notification. More information will be released when available. On September 17, German Joseph Torres Lizama, the suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Ashlin Yamileth Paz in Manassas, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Lynn, Massachusetts. The shooting occurred on July 18 near Pineview Rd and Cregger Ln, where officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Paz in a nearby wooded area with fatal gunshot wounds. Torres Lizama will remain incarcerated in Massachusetts until his extradition to Virginia.

Murder Investigation *SUSPECT WANTED [Previously Released] – Detectives have identified a suspect sought in connection to the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman during an encounter that occurred in the area of Pineview Rd and Cregger Ln in Manassas (20111) on July 18. The investigation revealed the suspect and victim were known to one another and the altercation is believed to have occurred during a planned meeting at the location. Additionally, the 2017 blue Hyundai Elantra sports edition that was initially being sought in connection with the investigation was previously recovered in Fairfax County unoccupied. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as German Joseth TORRES LIZAMA. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful. Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of this suspect or can otherwise aid in the investigation is asked to contact the police. More information will be released when available. Homicide Investigation *SUSPECT VEHICLE SOUGHT [Previously Released] – Detectives are seeking the vehicle involved in the homicide that occurred in the area of Pineview Rd and Cregger Ln in Manassas (20111) on July 18. The vehicle was seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting that killed an 18-year-old woman. The vehicle is described as a 2017 blue Hyundai Elantra, sports edition with Virginia license plate TVT-8777. The vehicle is possibly in the Leesburg/Loudoun County area. Detectives are still actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting and are seeking to speak with anyone who can aid in the investigation. Homicide Investigation [Previously Released] – On July 18 at 8:23PM, officers responded to the area of Pineview Rd and Cregger Ln in Manassas (20111) to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived on the scene and located an 18-year-old woman in a nearby wooded area suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene. No other injuries or property damage were reported, and no suspects have been located at this time. Detectives are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting and are seeking to speak with anyone who can aid in the investigation. Preliminarily, the incident does not appear to be random. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.

Shane Ryan Donahue

Prince William County Police made an arrest Tuesday in the 14-year-old cold case of Shane Ryan Donahue, who was 23 at the time of his disappearance.

The suspect was identified as 43-year-old Timothy Sean Hickerson, who lives in Palm Coast, Fla. Hickerson was arrested by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and will be extradited to Virginia.

Murder Investigation *COLD CASE | ARREST – On March 24, 2010, officers responded to a residence located in the 14000 block of Aden Rd in Nokesville (20181) to investigate a missing person. The investigation revealed family members had not heard from the victim, identified as Shane Ryan DONAHUE, age 23, after he was last seen leaving his parent’s residence on March 22, 2010. Over the course of the more than 14-year-long investigation, several investigative leads were developed and explored based on information brought to the attention of police.

In spring 2024, detectives reactivated the investigation, reexamining every detail of the case from scratch, including revisiting interviewed parties and digital evidence in greater detail due to advances in analytical technology and modern police investigative practices. The victim and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were last seen leaving the victim’s parent’s home together reportedly returning to the victim’s nearby residence in the 12000 block of Aden Road. The victim was not seen or heard from again. Although the victim’s remains have not been located, he is presumed deceased. During the investigation, the accused was connected to a burglary that occurred at the victim’s residence just days prior to his disappearance.

In September 2024, following the investigation, Prince William County detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Timothy Sean HICKERSON, who would have been 28 years old at the time of the victim’s disappearance. With the assistance of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, the accused was arrested in Palm Coast, Florida where he will remain incarcerated until extradited to Virginia.

On September 14, police responded to a shooting at the Sonic Soft Car Wash in Woodbridge, where a verbal altercation between two men escalated into a deadly encounter. Police said 25-year-old suspect shot Earl Duwan Miller, 54, during a physical altercation after both parties briefly separated. A female accomplice also brandished a firearm, police said.

The suspects fled but were apprehended shortly afterward by Virginia State Police. Miller was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Both suspects face multiple charges.

Murder Investigation – On September 14 at 3:52PM, officers responded to the Sonic Soft Car Wash located at 14109 Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed the victim, a 54-year-old man, and an unknown man, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation outside the car wash. The parties separated briefly before another altercation turned physical. During the encounter, a firearm was brandished by the accused and the victim was shot to the upper body. A female acquaintance who was with the accused also brandished a firearm. After the shooting, the suspects fled in their vehicle and were apprehended by Virginia State Police along I-95 in Fairfax County a short time later. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of the injuries. One exterior wall of a building was struck by gunfire. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, both suspects, identified as Jermaine Antwoine LEWIS and Vinisha Lanisa NEVILLE, were arrested. Spotsylvania Sheriff’s office responded to a domestic violence report that resulted in an officer shooting.

Spotsylvania County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred at 9:50 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at a home on W Glen Dower Drive, about three miles from Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

They found an adult male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and a second victim inside the home with a gunshot wound to an extremity. Detectives believe the estranged adult son arrived at the home and shot his father through the front door. Both were transported to a trauma center, with the son in critical condition and the father in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.

Shooting investigation

Deputies responded to a reported shooting yesterday evening around 9:50pm in the 3700 block of W Glen Dower Drive. Deputies arrived to find an adult male lying in the driveway with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. A second adult victim was found in the home with a gunshot wound to an extremity. Detectives learned that an estranged adult son showed up to the house and shot the father through the front door. Both were transported to an area trauma center with the son in critical condition and the father in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
