DRUGS:
Area of Plantation Drive and Smokehouse Drive, 10/2, 12:33 a.m. Deputy C.M. Sterne and Deputy W.A. Bolinsky observed a vehicle run a red light on Warrenton Road and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. While it took awhile for the driver to pull over he finally did. The driver had no driver’slicense. During a search of the vehicle a suspected controlled substance was located. This substance was later tested with a Tru-Narc device and was determined to be methamphetamine.At Rappahannock Regional Jail, the driver was searched and jail staff located another suspected
controlled substance in his undergarments. The driver advised he took so long to pull over because he was stuffing his skivvies. He was charged with possession of controlled substances, felony by a prisoner, driving without a license, and failure to obey a traffic light. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT:
Brooke Point High School, 1700 Courthouse Road, 10/1, 11:30 a.m. The School Resource Officer was patrolling the cafeteria when he was struck in the back of the head by a juvenile. The deputy was not injured and a criminal complaint for assault and battery on law enforcement was filed. Juvenile Intake was advised of the situation and decided to detain the juvenile. He was held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

ALCOHOL OFFENSE:
Jeff Rouse Center, 1600 Mine Road, 9/28, 12:30 a.m. Sergeant M.L. Jacobeen was in the area when he observed a vehicle occupied by a male and female. Considering the early morning hours, it was unlikely the pair were there for swimming lessons, so Sergeant Jacobeen made contact with them. The male was discovered to be in possession of Twisted Teas and had given the female some to consume. He was issued summons for underage possession of alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The female was turned over to a family member.

DISTURBANCE:
Stafford Regional Handbell Society, 106 Banks Ford Parkway, 9/27, 9:31 a.m. Sergeant M.E. Gordon was in the area with a disabled vehicle when she observed a loud disturbance occurring. Sergeant Gordon made contact with the two parties involved, the female was detained and eventually charged with obstruction of justice. The male was charged with assault and battery for slapping the female prior to Sergeant Gordon’s arrival. The female was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 secured bond while the male was held without bond.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a domestic dispute that occurred in June at an apartment complex. The individual faces charges of abduction, brandishing, and domestic assault following an incident where a physical altercation escalated and a firearm was brandished.

Abduction (Domestic Related) *ARREST – On September 28, the suspect sought in connection to the domestic dispute that was reported to have occurred at the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cl. in Woodbridge (22191) on June 7, was arrested. The accused, identified as Jamari ANKRAH, was located by Prince George’s County police.

Arrested on September 28:  Jamari ANKRAH, 23, of the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cl. in Woodbridge Charged with 1 count of abduction, 2 counts of brandishing, 1 count of domestic assault & battery Court Date: Pending | Status: Incarcerated

Abduction (Domestic Related) [Previously Released] – On June 7 at 12:19PM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim and physically prevented her from the room. When a 33-year-old female family member intervened, the accused brandished a firearm before leaving the apartment. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Jamari ANKRAH. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
On September 27 at 10:36 p.m., officers responded to an attempted burglary at a residence near Triangle. The investigation indicated that an unknown man had attempted to force entry multiple times, causing damage to the front door. The suspect was located nearby, found to be intoxicated, and was arrested on charges of attempted burglary and public intoxication.

The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, attempted to force entry into the home multiple times. Responding officers located the accused nearby where he was detained and determined to be intoxicated. Officers determined the accused damaged the front door of the residence. No entry was made into the home. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Michael Delanie CLAYTON, was arrested. Arrested on September 27: Michael Delanie CLAYTON, 38, of 859 W. Glebe Rd. in Alexandria Charged with attempted burglary and intoxicated in public Court Date: Pending | Bond: $5,000 Secured

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting from November 2023. The initial suspect was arrested in July 2024, and both are facing charges related to the incident that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man. Press Release from Prince William County Police:

Murder Investigation *ADDITIONAL ARREST – While continuing the investigation into the fatal shooting that occurred in the 3700 block of Wharf Ln. in Triangle (22172) on November 14, 2023, detectives identified a second suspect involved in the incident. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Keavon Teddrick COLEMAN. On September 30, 2024 members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located the suspect in Alexandria where he was taken into custody. A suspect was previously arrested for murder on July 10, 2024 in connection to this investigation.

On the night of September 29, police were called to the 13500 block of Langtree Lane in Woodbridge to address an attempted carjacking. The incident occurred between a 30-year-old woman and an acquaintance, during which a verbal altercation escalated. The suspect tried to forcibly take the woman's keys, leading to a brief physical struggle before they separated. The suspect was arrested the following day without any injuries being reported from the incident. He is now facing charges of attempted carjacking and is being held without bond.

From Prince William police: Attempted Carjacking – On September 29 at 11:03PM, officers responded to the 13500 block of Langtree Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted carjacking. The investigation revealed the victim, a 30-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused attempted to forcibly take the victim’s keys. After a brief physical altercation, the parties separated, and the accused left the area. No injuries were reported. The dogs had bitten two people and attacked another man despite police commands. An officer discharged their firearm, grazing one of the dogs, which then fled with the other dog. Both were later contained at Hillwood Camping Park, where they and their owner were found. Animal Control took custody of the dogs pending further investigation. Minor injuries were reported in the incidents.
