Amandeep Singh, 49, has been charged with the murders of Joshua Lee Davis, 45, and Nicole Wanda Lynn Davis, 45, in a double homicide that occurred at a home on Hanson Grove Court near Manassas. The couple, who rented the basement of the residence, were found dead from gunshot wounds on October 13.
Authorities were alerted by New Jersey police after Singh was detained following a separate domestic incident with family members. Singh is facing multiple charges, including murder, abduction, and firearm violations, and remains in custody pending extradition from New Jersey. Detectives continue to investigate the case.
Prince William police responded to a domestic incident at Rolling Brook Apartments in Lake Ridge early Friday morning, October 11, 2024.
Few details have been released by police, but a tipster informed Potomac Local that officers were seen using a tactical vehicle at the apartment complex around 1 a.m. The nature of the incident remains unclear.

On Dec. 20, 2017, the United States Air Force (USAF) issued a Request for Information to initiate a collaborative research consortium for developing autonomy technologies, the Autonomy Research Collaboration Network (ARCNet). SPGI bid on and was ultimately awarded the project for over $196 million.

Before, on October 6, two men were charged following a road rage incident in Woodbridge where one driver allegedly slashed the other with a pocketknife, causing a minor laceration, while a passenger brandished a firearm during the confrontation.

A man was sentenced to 70 years in prison, with 10 years suspended, for the May 2022 murders of two individuals in Woodbridge. A jury found him guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and gang participation involving a juvenile. The case stems from May 2022, when two people were found shot to death at Woodbridge Station Apartments after a resident noticed a bullet hole in his ceiling and reported it to the police. Officers discovered bullet fragments in the apartment below the victims' residence, leading them to the tragic scene upstairs.

Wawa, 860 Richmond Highway, 10/3, 1:46 a.m. First Sergeant D.W. Fetterolf was enjoying a meal when he observed the driver of a Camry begin to vomit. Now with a ruined appetite, First Sergeant Fetterolf made contact with the driver. The driver had signs of intoxication and Deputy C.D. Quebedeaux responded to assist. On October 4, 2024, a male suspect entered a bank in Cosner's Corner and handed the teller a note demanding money. During the attempt, the suspect displayed a knife but left without any cash. Deputies quickly arrived to search for the suspect, who was spotted and apprehended by a fire marshal in the area. The suspect was later charged with entering a bank armed with the intent to commit larceny.

On September 23rd at approximately 9:13 p.m. Deputy W.E. Trainor responded to Genesis Logistics, located at 705 Bradburn Place, for a robbery. The victim advised he was just robbed at gunpoint for two pairs of shoes, valued at over $2,000.
On October 2, 2024, officers responded to a road rage incident at the intersection of Dale Boulevard and Richmond Highway, where an 18-year-old man reported that another driver brandished a firearm at him. The accused was located and detained without incident, and the gun was recovered after an attempt to dispose of it; no injuries were reported.

The investigation revealed the victim, an 18-year-old man, was driving on Richmond Hwy. when he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of another vehicle, identified as the accused. While both vehicles were stopped at the above intersection, the accused brandished a firearm towards the victim before the parties separated. Officers also recovered the firearm believed to have been used during the incident after the accused attempted to dispose the weapon.
