Jackson Rutledge pitched six innings of two-run ball for his third win of the month, Will Frizzell homered for the tenth time as a FredNat, and the team picked up an 8-4 win over the Delmarva Shorebirds in the series opener at Virginia Credit Union Stadium.
The FredNats wasted no time getting going once again, scoring twice in the 1st inning on RBIs from T.J. White and Branden Boissiere. Cortland Lawson drove in a run with an RBI single in the 2nd as well, and it was 3-0 after two.

After winning the series with Down East last night, the FredNats were shut out by a final of 6-0 today at the hands of the Wood Ducks. The team only managed one hit, belonging to Jared McKenzie in the 7th inning.
Jose Atencio took the loss for Fredericksburg, pitching 4 2/3 innings and allowing six earned runs. He struck out five. McKenzie and Sammy Infante were the only base runners in the game for the FredNats.

J.T. Arruda had three hits, five RBIs and finished a home run short of the cycle, and the FredNats cruised to a 7-1 win over the Down East Wood Ducks.
Jarlin Susana started for the FredNats in his Single-A debut, and the electric 18-year-old pitcher that came over from San Diego in the Juan Soto trade did not disappoint. Susana hit 103 MPH on the radar guy numerous times, and ended up pitching three innings, allowing six hits, one earned run, one walk and three strikeouts. He threw 68 pitches and 44 strikes.

T.J. White had three hits, including a two-run home run, and Geraldi Diaz hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the 9th inning for a 3-2 FredNat win in the series opener with the Down East Wood Ducks. This was Diaz's second walk-off RBI of the year, and the FredNats pick up their fifth walk-off win.

The FredNats earned a series split Sunday in Lynchburg behind a strong start by Jose Atencio and three runs from Jared McKenzie. Fredericksburg controlled the game from the outset en route to a 4-1 victory.
McKenzie scored in the first and third on RBIs by Will Frizzell and then cruised home in the fifth on a wild pitch. James Wood followed with a home run to right to run the FredNats lead to 4-0. The blast was his second in a FredNats jersey.

Jacob Young scored twice, and Sammy Infante went deep, but the FredNats fell to the Hillcats 4-3 Friday at Bank of the James Stadium in Lynchburg. The six-game series between the two sides is now tied at 2-2.
Young now stands at 99 runs scored this season. He leads both Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball in runs scored. Aaron Judge is the only other player with 98. Young finished with three hits and reached base four times. His single in the first was his 100th hit of the year.

Jackson Rutledge pitched seven shutout innings with a career-high 10 strikeouts, and the FredNats won their second straight in Lynchburg by a final score of 3-1.
Rutledge allowed just three hits and retired the final 12 men he faced in a row. His previous career high for strikeouts in an outing was nine back in his rookie year in 2019. Rutledge has now won three out of his past four starts.
On offense, the FredNats got going early for the second straight night. After leading off the 2nd inning with a single, Trey Lipscomb came around to score on an RBI double from Geraldi Diaz, who narrowly missed a home run off the top of the wall.
