Executive Vice President and General Manager Nick Hall will leave the Fredericksburg Nationals baseball team.
Hall, 32, will become the Vice President of Hospitality and Strategy for the St Louis City SC, the new MLS stadium in St Louis. In his role, Hall will oversee all food, beverage, catering, premium services, and retail operations in the stadium.

The FredNats fell in the deciding game three of the 2022 Carolina League North Divisional Championship series by a score of 3-0. Branden Boissiere had the only hit of the game for the FredNats, a single in the 8th inning on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022.
The Hillcats scored single runs in the 2nd, 4th and 5th innings. Richard Paz and Junior Sanquintin had RBIs for the Hillcats.
Andry Lara started and pitched well, going four innings and allowing just one earned run with four strikeouts. Marlon Perez pitched two scoreless innings in relief, and Riggs Threadgill had a scoreless inning as well.

Sammy Infante reached three more times, but the FredNats fell to the Lynchburg Hillcats 5-2 Thursday at Bank of the James Stadium. With the series now tied 1-1, the FredNats and Hillcats will meet in a third game to decide the Carolina League North Divisional series Friday at 2:30.
Jarlin Susana suffered the loss on the mound for the FredNats. The 18-year-old allowed four walks plus a three-RBI double to Will Bartlett before exiting in the first with the score 4-0. Brendan Collins, Kyle Luckham, Tyler Schoff and Bryan Pena combined to allow just one run the rest of the way.

Jackson Rutledge pitched eight shutout innings with six strikeouts, Sammy Infante had three hits and a two-run double, and the FredNats shut out the Lynchburg Hillcats 2-0 in game one of the 2022 Carolina League North Championship Playoff series in front of 4,000+ fans at Virginia Credit Union Stadium.
The FredNat defense was perfect behind Rutledge after the first batter of the game reached on a bloop single. With the bases loaded for Lynchburg and one out in the 4th inning, Will Bartlett hit a rocket to third base that Trey Lipscomb snared with his glove. Lipscomb fired to second base for the first out, and then Sammy Infante turned the double play to keep the Hillcats off the board.

The FredNats sent the regular season out in style Sunday in Salem, blasting off for a 14-2 victory to finish the regular slate 75-55.
Will Frizzell paced the explosive offense with another 3-for-6 3-RBI contest. Armando Cruz, playing in just his third Carolina League game, added three hits, a pair of runs and a couple of RBIs. Fredericksburg piled up 19 hits.
