Lorton, Va. –– A woman from Lorton was abducted Wednesday and driven to Woodbridge, where she narrowly escaped her captor, police said.
It happened at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday when the 20-year-old victim was walking along U.S. 1 south, near Woodside Lane in the Gunston area of Fairfax County.
While the woman was walking near a shopping center, the alleged captor yelled out to her while the car was still moving. As the car stopped, the woman walked over to the passenger side of the car to speak to the man.
He then leaned over, grabbed her, pulled her inside the car and sped off, said police.
While inside, the man fondled the victim as he drove.
But when they got to Woodbridge, the victim was able to escape from the car while in the area of U.S. 1 and East Longview Drive.
The man drove away and the woman went for help, said police.
The man is described as black, between 30 and 39-years-old, tall, with a medium build.
The car was said to be a dark blue 4-door sedan.
Police are also interested in speaking with the woman who helped the victim, who is said to be a bilingual Hispanic woman.
