2 female students enticed

Dumfries, Va. –– Police in Dumfries are looking for a man they say went to two bus stops this morning and offered girls a ride.

It happened between 7:35 and 7:45 a.m. to two Graham Park Middle School students.

The first girl was standing at a bus stop in the area of Main Street and Graham Park Road when a man in an older model silver van with tinted windows pulled up and asked her if she wanted a ride. The girl declined and the man sped off, said Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

The same man later pulled up to a second bus stop, this time in the area of Main Street and Mine Road, where he asked another girl if she wanted a ride. Again, the girl declined and the man drove away, said Perok.

Police have stepped up patrols in the area, and said neither girl was injured.

The driver is described to be in his 30s, with short black hair, with a thin mustache, wearing a shirt with red markings.

The van he was driving is said to be dirty on the exterior, with a dent on the rear bumper on the passenger side.
