A man is charged with carjacking, hit and run, eluding police, driving under the influence, preventing the summoning of law enforcement, and driving on a suspending license. 

Redmon forced a taxi driver from his vehicle and drove away with it. When officers attempted to stop Redmon, he fled. Redmon struck another vehicle at a redlight at the intersection of Prince William Parkway, according to police.

A man threw the 41-year-old victim to the ground and proceeded to choke her after their verbal altercation escalated, according to police.

The victim received treatment at a local hospital for minor injuries.

As students mourn the loss of their beloved snow days, some stop to ask themselves; What does this mean for the remainder of the school year?

Prince William County  Public Schools are allotted 12 snow days this school year. After the #sNOVAlanche storm that blanketed the region with up to to two feet of snow January 22 and 23 , Prince William County Public School students and teachers have about 5 snow days left.

As of now, Prince William public schools students will not have to make up the missed time, according to school officials.

Boy Scout Troop 74 honored Griffith Bullard with the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest level of achievement in the Boy Scout program.

At 14, he is the youngest Eagle Scout to be honored by the troop.

Griffith, of Triangle, started Cub Scouts at age seven while in first grade. As a fifth grader, he moved into Boy Scouts.

As a scout, he has spent over 20 nights camping and has over 100 hours of community service under his belt. Read More

A 48-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body after an argument in Woodbridge.

According to police, the victim was transported to a local hospital for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Malicious Wounding – On February 1 at 12:32AM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 48 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused stabbed the victim in the upper body. The parties were eventually separated and police were contacted. The accused was located and detained without incident by responded officers. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
