Stephen “Stan” Joseph Staniszewski, 80, of Dumfries, VA went to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
He was the son of the late Sidney and Stella Staniszewski.
He was a United States Navy Veteran serving honorably for 24 years. He then retired from 7 Eleven, after 20 years.
He is survived by his son Frank Staniszewski (husband of Tina), Daughter Stephanie Acevedo ( wife of Oscar), and five Grandchildren Andrea, Alejandro,Ā Kameran, Kaydence and Wiley. Born in Connecticut. He was preceeded in death by his beloved wife, of sixteen years Carolann Staniszewski.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, his pets, watching movies, football, writing stories, card tricks, baking, and telling jokes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where he was a contributing member since 2007. Send donations to 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown, NY 10598. www.guidingeyes.org.
The family will receive guest at 10:30am Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, VA 22193. A Life Celebration service will begin at 11:30am with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery.

Evonn Renee Mack/Hensley, born 10/1/1968 to Roosevelt and Mary Mack in Swainsboro Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father Roosevelt Mack, her Sister Diann Mack/Lee her stepfather Hubert Carr. The family moved to Virginia in June 1969. Evonn attended the Fairfax County Public Schools, She graduated from West Potomac High School in 1987. Before she graduated, she was introduced to banking. She started out as a teller. She grew to love banking and the operation of it, She also loved working with numbers. Evonn decided to make a career of banking. She joined Chainbridge Bank in 2007, She took accounting courses at Strayer College in 2008. Evonn has over 30 years of branch and back office experience in the banking industry. She plays a main role in reviewing exception items and various other functions of the bank. Ā Evonn currently served as a Senior Operations Specialist.
On June 2007 she married her high school sweetheart Clarence Hensley. There were no children from this marriage. She has a son Javaris L. Mack, a daughter Janelle Hensley, and three grandchildren Jade, Kimirah & Elijah
Evonn was a home body, she enjoyed staying at home with her family. Cooking and trying out new recipes. She enjoyed traveling. Her favorite thing to do was roller skating. If it were possible she would have done it daily. She had this great love for animals, they had cats, a bird, a rabbit a ferrit and two dogs. Not all at one time. She loved her dogs best, Bishop was her favorite. A.K.A. Renee loved life, and she lived it her way. She will be greatly missed.

Hensley 3 brother-in-laws, Ted Hensley, Dwayn Hensley, Brian Hensley, Annette Hensley, Latoya Hensley. Her best friend for over 25 years Amy Lloyd -Maryland, And a host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends.

Donnie āKirkā Copeland born April 7, 1962 in Rayville, La. Passed away on September 23, 2021. Kirk is preceded in death by his parents Buddy and Judy Copeland. Survived by his wife Carmen, Son Kory Dane his wife Lynnsey and his three grandchildren, Kade Grayson, Coralie Annette and Kenna Lynn, Sister Kandi Kai Grimes, nephew Kage Grimes and Niece Karah Grimes, Stepson Austin and his wife Kassidy. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousin and friends. He was welcomed into his heavenly home by his parents.
Kirk had a bachelorās degree in Architecture from La Tech, loved cooking his gumbos or just cooking in general, loved playing his guitars, was the best POP POP around, loved laughter, being with family, he loved reminiscing with ole friends and stories of the past, was just an overall great guy.
A memorial service will be held on October 8, 2021 at the Mountcastle Funeral Home 4143 Dale Blvd. Dale City, Va. 22193 from 6 pm ā 8 pm
Please join us in the celebration of Kirkās life.
There will also be a memorial in Louisiana, to be determined at a later date.
Lionel Thibodaux, 78, of Woodbridge, died September 24, 2021 at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. He was born April 4, 1943 in Louisiana to the late Joseph and Elvina (Ordoyne) Thibodaux.Ā He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the VFW. He is preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Leona Thibodaux, Gerald Nairn, and Alice Nairn.
Mr. Thibodaux is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Virginia Thibodaux; his children, Tracy Wood (David), and Adam Thibodaux (Lori); James Wood, Aubrie, Joey, Jeremy, and Austin Thibodaux. He is also survived by his sisters, and Virginia Ordoyne (Charles),; brothers, Rogers Thibodaux (Bonnie); and in laws, Doris Whitlock, Berneda Usery and Roy Thibodaux,; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guest from 10am to 11am Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church 14160 Ferndale Rd. Dale City, VA 22193. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am, with interment at Quantico National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
