Local leaders and new residents joined the development team of PTM Partners (PTM) and The IDI Group Companies (IDI) on January 25 to celebrate the completion of Viridium, a new 318-unit apartment building with unrivaled amenities on the Occoquan River in Woodbridge.
Viridium's new complex includes its health and fitness center, club lounge, gaming lounge, theater, EV charging stations, and a mobile app that can serve as an electronic key.

On January 17, 2023, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors passed a motion to approve more than $4.7 million of federal funding for a new sidewalk along Prince William Parkway.
The project, which was approved in a unanimous decision, involves the construction of a five-foot wide sidewalk on the westbound side of the parkway from Summerland Drive to the Horner Road commuter lot over Interstate 95 in Woodbridge.

OmniRide's Service Change will take effect on Monday, January 30.
Schedules for Express, Metro Express, and Local routes will change on that date. OmniRide Connect micro transit pilot program is now operating in Manassas Park. It replaces the OmniRide Local Manassas Park route. Some routes operate from the new Balls Ford Road Commuter Lot in Manassas.

On January 17, 2023, the Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) voted to approve funding for Phase I of the Route 28 (Centreville Road) Innovative Intersections project from Manassas Drive to Spruce Street in Manassas Park.
The CTB approved over $24 million worth of funding for the Innovative Intersections project. This funding was approved after years of efforts from Delegate Danica Roem (D), the Manassas Park Governing Body, and the Manassas Park Government staff to secure funding to improve Route 28, the city stateed in a press release.
