DALE CITY, Va. – On Sunday two women said that various items worth over $14,600 had been stolen from their apartment. The intruder appeared to have entered the apartment through an unlocked door, police said. No arrests have been made.

Residential Burglary – On July 27th at 12:49PM, police responded to the 14300 block of Westminster Lane in Woodbridge (22193) in reference to a burglary.  The victims, both 24 year old females, reported that sometime in the previous 24 hours an unknown person(s) had entered their apartment and removed electronics, handbags, and shoes valued at more than $14,600.00.  There were no signs of forced entry.  It appears entry was made through an unlocked door.

WOODBRIDGE, Va – A 46-year-old woman told police that someone damaged the rear gate and removed a screen from the ground floor window at her house.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On July 28th at 7:24PM, police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3400 block of Eagle Ridge Drive in Woodbridge (22191).  The victim, a 46 year old female, reported that between July 24 and 28 someone had damaged a rear gate to her property and had removed the screen covering a ground floor window.  No entry was made to the house.

WOODBRIDGE, Va – Police are investigating the sexual assault of two teenaged girls, ages 11 and 12. The two victims knew the suspects, according to the police report.

Rape | Forcible Sodomy – On July 27th at 10:28AM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191). The investigation revealed that the two victims, a 12 year old girl and an 11 year old girl – both of Woodbridge, were both sexually assaulted by three juvenile males. The victims and suspects were known to one another. Following the investigation, the juveniles were identified and charged on July 28th.

Arrested on July 28th:

17 year old male juvenile and a 16 year old male juvenile – both of Woodbridge

Charged with rape and forcible sodomy

Court date: pending | Status: held at the Juvenile Detention Center

 

Arrested on July 29th:

17 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge

Charged with forcible sodomy

Court date: pending | Status: released to guardian

WOODBRIDGE, Va – A 51-year-old man was sent to the hospital after being attacked and then struck with a bat. Police are seeking a suspect in the case.

Malicious Wounding – On July 25th at 10:38PM, police responded to investigate a malicious wounding that occurred in the 1300 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191).  The victim, a 51 year old male from Lorton, was delivering food to an address.  When no one answered the door, he began to return to his car.  He was attacked from behind and struck several times with a bat or similar object.  Nothing was reported taken.  The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing.

DALE CITY, Va — A 30 year old man was beaten in the face and hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Police have issued an arrest warrant for suspect.

Here’s the latest from Prince William police;

Malicious Wounding – On July 25th at 12:50AM, officers responded to the 14400 block of Fontaine Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 30 year old man of Woodbridge, was assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, while in front of a residence in the above area. A witness reported seeing the accused on top of the victim, striking him repeatedly to the face. The accused fled on foot prior to police arriving in the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant against the accused.
