PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. - According to Prince William police, homicide detectives are still seeking any information that can lead to the arrest and conviction of the individuals connected to the murder of Glenda Marisol Coca-Romero.

The murder occurred at Platanillos Grocery and Jewelry in Woodbridge, VA on February 21, 2014.

The local police and the FBI Washington Field Office are working together to offer a reward of $20,000 for information that can lead to the arrests and convictions of these individuals. Additionally, there is a $1,000 reward being offered by the Prince William County Crime Solvers.

On January 13, two victims living in a Manassas apartment were assaulted using a blunt metal rod. The female suspect and her female friend were at the apartment hours earlier and returned with a group of male suspects.

The suspects then forced their way into the apartment, where they assaulted the victims, causing non-life threatening injuries, police said. Three suspects have been located and identified, the investigation is ongoing.

 On January 14, a 42-year-old man of Woodbridge was hospitalized and died after being stabbed in his living room. According to the report, the victim's step son stabbed the man several times, while the mother of the suspect called police. The suspect's brother tried to stop him and once police arrived to the scene, the two were fighting, police said.

The suspect was taken into custody and subsequently arrested.

On Dec. 17, police found and arrested the man they said is responsible for pulling a knife on local cab drivers and stealing money from them.

Police say the suspect matched the description given in connection to the five separate incidents reported to the police.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - On December 8, police went to Saks Fifth Avenue department store at Potomac Mills Mall after an unknown man tried to steal a pair of shoes and assaulted an employee when they tried to stop him. The man left the scene in a car and officers were not able to find the man after searching the nearby area.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 8th at 6:30PM, officers responded to the Saks Fifth Ave in Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shoplifting. Officers arrived at the business and were informed by an employee with loss prevention that an unknown man entered the store, took a pair of shoes and attempted to leave the store without paying. As the employee went to detain the suspect, the man assaulted the employee and fled in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area and did not locate the suspect.

MANASSAS, Va. - On December 3, a physician at a Patient First facility in Manassas was arrested for sexually assaulting a 23-year-old male victim during an examination. According to the report, the incident occurred on November 10.

Sexual Battery – On November 10th, detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit responded to investigate a sexual battery allegation which was reported to have occurred at the Patient First located at 9715 Liberia Ave in Manassas (20110). The victim, a 23 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that during an examination he was sexually assaulted by the accused, a physician at the facility. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested on December 3rd.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - On Dec. 7, an employee at a Best Western hotel told police that an unknown man came in and went up to the counter with a handgun, demanding money.

Armed Robbery – On December 7th at 2:13PM, officers responded to the Best Western located at 14619 Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the lobby and approached the counter. The man implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the hotel on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.

LAKE RIDGE, Va. - On December 5, a 15-year-old victim told police that while walking on school grounds, she was approached by three teenagers, one of whom stole the victim's phone and left the scene on foot along with the other teens.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 5th at 5:45PM, officers responded to Woodbridge High School located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 15 year old female juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking across school property when she was approached by an unknown male juvenile accompanied by two other female juveniles. During the encounter, the male suspect grabbed the victim’s phone and fled on foot with the other juveniles. No injuries were reported.
