Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related – On October 2 at 3:12PM, officers responded to the intersection of Dale Blvd. and Richmond Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The investigation revealed the victim, an 18-year-old man, was driving on Richmond Hwy. when he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of another vehicle, identified as the accused. While both vehicles were stopped at the above intersection, the accused brandished a firearm towards the victim before the parties separated. While investigating the incident, officers received additional information identifying the accused who they located and detained without incident. Officers also recovered the firearm believed to have been used during the incident after the accused attempted to dispose the weapon. No shots were fired during the incident and no injuries were reported. On September 28, a 37-year-old man was assaulted in the parking lot of Afrikiko Restaurant and Bar in Woodbridge. After regaining consciousness, he contacted a family member, who informed the police about the incident.

Abduction (Domestic Related) [Previously Released] – On June 7 at 12:19PM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim and physically prevented her from the room. When a 33-year-old female family member intervened, the accused brandished a firearm before leaving the apartment. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Jamari ANKRAH. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
Attempted Burglary – On September 27 at 10:36PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 18100 block of Olde Port Ln. [near] Triangle (22172) to investigate an attempted burglary. The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, attempted to force entry into the home multiple times. Responding officers located the accused nearby where he was detained and determined to be intoxicated. Officers determined the accused damaged the front door of the residence. No entry was made into the home. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Michael Delanie CLAYTON, was arrested. Arrested on September 27: Michael Delanie CLAYTON, 38, of 859 W. Murder Investigation *ADDITIONAL ARREST – While continuing the investigation into the fatal shooting that occurred in the 3700 block of Wharf Ln. in Triangle (22172) on November 14, 2023, detectives identified a second suspect involved in the incident. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Keavon Teddrick COLEMAN. On September 30, 2024 members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located the suspect in Alexandria where he was taken into custody. A suspect was previously arrested for murder on July 10, 2024 in connection to this investigation.

ACTS needs dedicated volunteers to deliver boxes of food to homebound seniors and people with disabilities in eastern Prince William County Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.. Volunteers need a valid driver’s license and can use any size vehicle, though a van may be provided if necessary. Boxes can weigh up to 40 pounds. Volunteers typically call or text recipients to notify them that their delivery is on the way. You’ll feel great as you ensure that those who are unable to leave their homes receive the food they need! Note: Client Intake Volunteers are also needed! Duties include assisting clients with booking appointments, registering new clients, and ensuring every client receives the support they need. The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force arrested a 33-year-old Woodbridge resident following a three-month investigation into a drug operation in Culpeper and Prince William counties. Authorities seized 2,857 grams of Fentanyl, two handguns, a rifle, and over $26,000 in cash during searches at private residences.

Abduction | Sexual Assault – On September 26 at 10:30PM, officers responded to investigate an abduction that was reported to have occurred in the 12100 block of Sierra Sunset Ln. in Gainesville (20155) at approximately 11:00PM on September 25. The investigation revealed the victim, a 22-year-old woman, was approached by an acquaintance, identified as the accused. When the victim refused to go with the accused, he grabbed her arm and forced her into his vehicle. The accused then drove to a parking lot on Gateway Promenade Pl. where he inappropriately touched the victim. The victim reported minor injuries at the time of the incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Marlon Danilo Neftaly MO-CHOC, was arrested. On September 26, officers investigated a bomb threat at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, prompted by a phone call from a Woodbridge man, police said. The restaurant was evacuated, police didn't find a bomb, and the caller was charged with making a threat to bomb.
