For many people, spring means rainy weather, flowers blooming, and a restless yearning for summer.
We, here at the City of Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation, celebrate our restless summer yearning by getting Signal Bay Water Park, located at 9300 Signal View Drive, ready for the season! It takes hundreds of man hours to get the facility cleaned and inspected for safety, long before our Memorial Day opening weekend on May 28th!
We’re particularly excited for this year as we’re celebrating Signal Bay Water Park’s 20th anniversary! The water park first opened its doors on July 21, 1996 and has been a popular attraction for both residents of Manassas Park and non-residents alike.
The water park is best suited for children 10 years old and under, but has amenities the entire family can enjoy. For children 12 years old and younger, they can enjoy the 1.5 ft deep activity pool which has 6 slides, water cannons, and more. Individuals 43” and taller can hang out at our Lily Pad Crossing and our 3 ft deep Lazy River.
To get the most out of the water park we also offer our popular water walking group exercise class starting at the end of June. You can just drop-in for $4 on Monday-Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Does your child have a summer birthday? Consider celebrating at Signal Bay Water Park with one of our birthday party packages! We have time slots available each weekend that the water park is open, and each package includes all day admission for guests, food and drink for the kids, and 2 hours in the Shade Structure. We take care of the fun and the mess with our birthday party packages, so you can just sit back and relax down the Lazy River!
