Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (PWCAC- DST) in partnership with The Delta Education and Public Service Foundation of Prince William County, Inc., a 501(c) organization will host the 2nd Annual Business Building Workshop.
The workshop will held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Northern Virginia Community College, 15200 Neabsco Mills Road, Woodbridge, VA 22191. Experts in the field of small business development will share best practices, and provide participants with key resources to move forward with their vision.
The theme for this special event is “Come With Your Dreams, Leave With a Plan (Part 2)”. This event will be open and free to the entire community. Last year, more than 80 business owners or future entrepreneurs with a wide range of business interest attended the day long workshop. 2015 Workshop Topics include:Â ABC’s of Starting a Business Intro to GrowthWheel (an assessment tool of areas to focus on when starting and growing a business), 10 Myths of Government Contracting Credit, and You Funding your Business Youth Entrepreneurship, Financing Your Business, The latest on Social Media, and your Business Intellectual Properties/Patenting your Idea/Product.
