The 2014 Tri-County Walk to End Alzheimer’s, centered in Manassas, Virginia exceeded fundraising goals for 2014.
Manassas City Councilman Ian Lovejoy, who has served as Chairman of the Walk Committee for the last two years remarked “I’m not surprised by these great results because our community has always rallied when it needs to, especially for such great causes”. Mr. Lovejoy also represents Home Instead Senior Care on the committee.
The original fundraising goal for the 2014 walk was $90,000. The final fundraising report showed this goal was exceeded, with final numbers coming in at $90,849.06. The final fundraising tally for 2013 was $74,353 making the 2014 walk the most successful in recent history.
