A police officer and a animal control officer went to help a dog off a roof.
The Manassas City 911 dispatch reported they received a call about a dog on a roof. Two officers from the city’s police department were sent to the area of Cockrell Road and Corporate Circle about 5:30 p.m. There they helped the owners of the large dog off a roof.
The owners of the dog were seen taking the animal back to its home on a leash. The owners were also carrying a large ladder.
