Clayton Lee Hill was identified as the suspect in a purse-snatching incident at Giant Food store in December. The Manassas City Police were able to identify Hill after a five-week investigation. He is currently in custody, with a pending court date.

On February 2, 2015, Manassas City Police concluded a nearly five-week-long investigation into a series of crimes which led to the identification of Clayton Lee HILL as a suspect in the purse-snatching and brandishing incident that occurred at Giant Food (10100 Dumfries Rd) on December 31, 2014. HILL (52) of 22060 Waverly Heights Rd, Middleburg, VA 20117, who had been charged by Manassas City Police for the robbery of BB&T Bank that occurred on January 7th, is in custody at Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren Regional Jail following his arrest by Virginia State Police on January 10th. HILL has a pending court date of February 19, 2015 in Prince William General District Court. Please see prior releases and the attached bulletin below for more information.
