MANASSAS, Va. - On August 9, a 13-year-old girl told police that she woke up to a man touching her after he entered the home. According to the report, the child knew the man and police have arrested him.

Residential Burglary | Assault & Battery – On August 9th at 4:46PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 8000 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) around 5:30AM. The victim, a 13 year old female juvenile, reported to police that she was sleeping when she woke to the accused touching her. The victim reported the incident to her mom later in the afternoon who contacted police. The accused is known to the victim. No injuries were reported and there were no signs of forced entry into the home. The accused was located by officers and detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
