WOODBRIDGE, Va. - On October 1, a 20-year-old man told police that he was assaulted by three suspects, whom he knew, and that duct tape and threats were used against him. Police believe that this assault was in revenge for another previous incident between the victim and one of the suspects.

Assault by Mob | Attempted Abduction – On October 1st at 5:00PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 13100 block of Putnam Cir in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 20 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was assaulted by three known acquaintances. During the encounter, the men reportedly duct taped the victim and threatened him. The incident is believed to have retaliation for a previous encounter involving the victim and one of the suspects. Minor injuries were reported. All three suspects were eventually located and arrested.
