When looking to upgrade their server and computer system, Discover Prince William went to JTC, Inc. – a company they knew would provide them with quality services.
“We currently contract with JTC as our technology provider. Not only have we been happy with the services they provide to us but they are familiar with our computer system,” said Office Manager Susan Plattner, of the decision to use JTC for the upgrade.
Discover Prince William, an organization located in Manassas in charge of tourism and recreation, is a crucial part of drawing visitors into the county and surrounding communities, so ensuring that they have a reliable sever and connectivity was extremely important.
Having used different services in the past for their server’s installation, Discover Prince William knew they wanted a company that would make the transition as easy as possible. “JTC was able to install the server as well as employee workstations in just a few days with very little downtime-maybe 30 minutes for the server installation. The technicians assigned were very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a quick and smooth transition,” Plattner commented.
One of the major upgrades that JTC was able to make for Discover Prince William was a network for sharing files to several employees in the office. By providing this service, they were able to make it easier for the organization to accomplish their goals.
“It’s essential to have a server to share files among the departments and we were excited to upgrade to new technology,” Plattner said of the upgrade.
For the organization, choosing JTC has proven to be a major success that has helped them perform more effectively and efficiently.
