Thomas Leighton Link passed away Friday, April 18, 2024 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital of Parkinson’s Disease complications.
Mr. Link was born in Tacoma, Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Edith Link. He is survived by, his loving wife, Nancy, of 49 years; his son, Ryan (Rebecca); his daughter, Shannon Godwin (Kelly); his sisters, Sharon Waddell, Nadine Link and Kathy Lynch (Michael) and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Link graduated from Clover Park High School and the University of Puget Sound. He is an alumnus of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. At the time of his retirement, he was the Assistant Chief of the National Guard.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. to be followed by funeral service at 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Mountcastle Turch Funeral home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City VA 22193 (703-680-1234).
Interment will be in Tacoma, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA) Falls Church, VA.
