More than 12-inches of Snow Possible for the Region

Stafford is currently under a Winter Storm Watch, as snow is projected to begin on Wednesday evening and continue into Thursday evening.

While Stafford is expected to have more than 5 inches of accumulation, some models from the National Weather Service project more than 12-inches of accumulation throughout the region.

There is concern that heavy, wet snow could lead to some power outages during the storm.

* WINDS…NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* IMPACTS…ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW AND SLEET COVERED AND

SLIPPERY. TRAVEL MAY BE DANGEROUS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND
