Trouble apparently found more trouble Monday night in Dale City.
A 16-year-old told police he made arrangements to conduct a “transaction” with another man in the 13200 block of Nickelson Drive. Police say the transaction was legal and then went bad when the man pulled out a taser and tried to unsuccessfully shock the teenager.
More in a unedited police press release:

The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet an unknown male in the area above to conduct a transaction. During the encounter, the man displayed a device, similar to an electronic restraint device, and attempted to shock the victim in the stomach. The victim’s coat was able to block the shock and the victim was able to flee from the area without further incident. No injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random.
