Ricky Lee Hogsett, 54, of Elkton, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Hogsett was born January 17, 1960 in Waynesboro to Betty Sensabaugh Hogsett Berry and the late Maynard Hogsett. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, J. Roger Berry.
Ricky previously worked in maintenance at Mosby Heights in Harrisonburg. He enjoyed playing his guitar and bluegrass music with the ASAP Valley Boys in Northern Virginia.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Christina Maria Hogsett; his daughters, Paula M. Brewer and husband, Richard of Grottoes and Bobbi S. Hogsett and companion, Zack Rice of Elkton,; foster mother, Peggy Monroe; a sister, Joy Satter of Elkton; step-brothers, Chris McGann and Ricky Berry; six grandchildren.
Pastor Tom Yoder will conduct a memorial service 2 pm Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton. Following the cremation, a private interment will be held at a later date.
