Prince William County

On Friday, January 24, all Prince William County Public Schools will open two hours late due to weather-related conditions. SACC will open two hours late, Bus delays are possible in unplowed or unpaved areas. Please make plans to deal with unexpected delays. Parents always have the option to keep children home if they have safety concerns.

PWCS transportation has identified several areas where roads are potentially inaccessible to buses. Due to predicted cold, avoid leaving children unattended at stops in the areas below. If buses do not arrive within twenty minutes, please have them return home or use alternate transportation to school.

No school for students, employees report two hours late

Manassas City

All Manassas City Public Schools will open two hours late on Friday, January 24, 2014 due to continued icy conditions. Ice on sidewalks, cul d sacs and other minor roadways requires sufficient daylight for students to travel to school safely. Bus delays may be possible due to street conditions in some areas. Please note that parents always have the option to keep children home if they have safety concerns.
