How much snow did we get today?
At 3 p.m. in Stafford County there was a snow of .4 inches total reported to the National Weather Service.
In Prince William and Manassas, there were no reports on the weather service roster. Spotters in Fairfax County reported about 1.5 inches there.

What’s happening with the snow storm now? It’s moving out to sea and light snow will continue into the overnight hours with little accumulation expected.
Nearly all area school divisions have canceled classes for Wednesday. Winter storm warnings that had been up for most of today are now coming down.
Now the bitterly cold air moves in behind the storm, and wind chill advisories are going up as temperatures will feel near zero.

GUSTY NRLY WINDS WILL ALSO RESULT IN WINDCHILLS NEAR ZERO AND NEAR -20 IN THE POTOMAC HIGHLANDS. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THIS EVENING THROUGH NOON ON WEDNESDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION FROM THE WEST WEDNESDAY AND TEMPS WILL ONLY CLIMB INTO THE TEENS. GUSTY NRLY WINDS WILL SUBSIDE BY WED AFTERNOON.
Wednesday will be cloudy and the sun will poke back out on Thursday. But don’t expect it to warm up any time soon as temperatures will remain cold through the weekend beginning of next week. One week from today, we’re looking at a forecast high of 23 degrees.
