Linda Ann Torres

Linda Ann Torres, age 63, of Woodbridge, VA passed away on January 14, 2014 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

Linda was born on July 31, 1950 in Providence, RI to the late Ivan and Ursula Gardner. Linda graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree. She loved to read, cook,and listen to music, especially the oldies. Linda had a caretaker personality and was very caring and giving, always thinking of others and helping others.

Including her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her sister (Jean M. Gardner). Linda is survived by her loving husband of 18 years ( Roberto A. Torres); her daughter (Kimberly A. Pollard) and son-in-law (John Pollard, Jr.); her step-daughter (Michelle Torres); her step-son (Miguel Torres); her brother (Martin F. Gardner) and his wife( Sandra Gardner); three grandchildren (Casey, Natalie, and Marcos). She is also survived by her niece (Stacey Baber); and niece (Alicia Alston) and her husband (Clayton Alston). Linda also leaves behind her two fun-loving dogs (Chuckie and DeDe) which she adored.

Family and friends will be received at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193 on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 11:30am-1:00pm for visitation; with a Life Celebration service beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, 12914 Canova Drive, Manassas VA 20112 with a reception to follow.
