MANASSAS, Va. -- Manassas has a batch of new police officers on the city’s streets. They new officers were sworn in a at city council meeting.
Here is information about the new officers as provided by city officials:
Officer Ashley “Nikki” Bowman is a native of the Manassas area and attended Stonewall Jackson High School. Officer Bowman has always wanted to be a police officer. Her father, Virginia State Trooper Johnny Bowman, was killed in the line of duty in 1984.
