Blue Ridge Assistance Dogs (BRAD) was founded in 1994 as a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to providing specially selected and professionally trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans disabled by mobility impairments, seizures, diabetes, and post traumatic stress. We are an accredited member of Assistance Dogs International.
Thier organization is run by a dedicated team of volunteers, an active Board of Directors, and our Executive Director. We are supported by our local community, individual donors, and foundations who believe in our mission and stand ready to support us.
