MANASSAS PARK, Va. — Attention pet lovers everywhere- are you ready for a doggone good time? The City of Manassas Park, Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Doggie Paddle to take place at Signal Bay Water Park on Saturday, September 7th from 10am-2pm.
This event is the perfect opportunity for you to bring your best furry friend for one final dip in the water before we close for the winter. Bring your dog out to enjoy a playful romp, receive some tasty treats, and make some frisky new friends!
Join local vendors, rescues, vets, and other friendly local businesses. Proceeds go towards the Manassas Park Dog Park. Admission is for this event $5 per dog but you’ll want to bring the whole family because owners get in for free! There is a limit of 2 dogs per handler.
To ensure that everybody has a safe and enjoyable experience, we require that you bring proof of vaccination for your dog. You MUST provide proof of the following in order to be admitted into the park: Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies. Unfortunately, we cannot allow any dogs into the park without this documentation.
Keep in mind, this swim is for dogs ONLY- owners and children are not permitted to swim with their pooches. All dogs must swim at their own risk. We want everyone to have fun. Any unruly or overly disruptive dogs will kindly be asked to leave. Female dogs in heat will not be allowed. Also, please remember to clean up after your pet- if everyone does their part we can all have a wonderful day!
For additional information about the event, vendor opportunities, sponsorships or donations, please contact Jennifer Deuterman, Marketing Manager, at 703.335.8872 or via email at [email protected].
