
Fairfax County, Va. –– Those looking for summer work have a chance to get a job with Fairfax County’s Summer RECQuest Program.
RECQuest provides affordable activities for children in grades k through 12 during the spring and summer months when school is not in session.
Applicants must be 18-years-old or older with a high school diploma, and must have previous experience working with children in a group setting.
Those selected for jobs will also need to have CPR and First Aid certifications for children and adults, according to information from Fairfax officials.
Hiring will take place March 10, May 19 and June 1 from Noon until 5 p.m. at the Fairfax County Government Center, at 12011 Government Center Parkway, 10th Floor, in Fairfax.
A hiring session will also be held from 4:30 to 9 p.m. April 5 at Irving Middle School in Springfield, at 8100 Old Keene Mill Road.
Applicants are encouraged to bring an original social security card, DMV photo ID, a voided check for direct deposit purposes, as well as resident alien forms if it applies.
