WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- The Hagerstown Suns may relocate to Fredericksburg, and that doesn’t bother the Potomac Nationals one bit.
Potomac Nationals owner Art Silber said his team pulls fans from Prince William and Fairfax counties, and the prospect of Fredericksburg having a team just 26 miles away from his will not be a problem, Frederickburg.com reports.
Silber is in the process of searching for naming rights for a new 6,000 seat stadium that will be located across from Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, in Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center just off Interstate 95 in Woodbridge. The new filed, an upgrade from their current field behind the Prince William County Government Center in Woodbridge, Pfitzner Stadium.
