Domestic Assault & Battery | Hit & Run | Felony Eluding – On March 10th at 10:20PM, police responded to the 7400 block of Fenwood Ct in Manassas (20109) for a domestic. The victim, a 38 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.
During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim before leaving the residence in a vehicle. Minor injuries were reported. An officer spotted the vehicle in the area of Sudley Manor Dr and Forrester Ln where a traffic stop was attempted. The accused ignored the officer’s emergency equipment and continued driving. In the process of fleeing from officers, the accused struck several unoccupied, parked vehicles, a transformer box, and a fence before stopping in the area of Urbanna Rd and Portsmouth Dr.
After stopping, the accused fled on foot. Following a short foot pursuit, the accused was apprehended without further incident. No injuries were reported as a result of the suspect fleeing from officers.

Armed Robbery *ARREST:Â On March 11th, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 4300 block of Welsh Ln in Woodbridge on February 2nd. Warrants were obtained and the accused was located at his address where he was arrested without incident. Detectives are still investigating this case to identify and arrest the two remaining suspects.

Charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Sexual Assault – On March 6th, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 15700 block of Crocus Ln in Dumfries (22025) over the past year and a half. The investigation revealed that the victims, an 11 year old boy and a 9 year old boy, were being sexually abused by the accused, a family member. The accused is also a juvenile. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Indecent Exposure – On March 10th at 1:49PM, police responded to the 17200 block of Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) for an indecent exposure. Three female juveniles, between 13 and 15 years of age, reported to police that they were walking in the area above when they encountered an unknown, nude man run out of the woodline where they were walking. Once spotted by the victims, the man ran back into the woods. A short time later, the man exited the woodline again, this time fully clothed, and got into a vehicle. No contact was made between the man and the victims.

Malicious Wounding – On March 8th at 9:15PM, police responded to investigate an assault which was reported to have occurred in the 7600 block of Great Dover St in Gainesville (20155) earlier in the evening. The victim, a 21 year old man of Gainesville, reported to police that he was at a party at an address in the above area when he was knocked to the ground and assaulted by an unknown man who was also at the residence. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to his face. The victim was unable to provide a description of the assailant.
Strong Armed Robbery – On March 10th at 10:33PM, police responded to the 8200 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. The victim, 20 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was standing just outside his residence when he was approached by an unknown man. The man assaulted the victim and took his cell phone before fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported.
