Meet Xena: A Sweet Pup Ready for Her Forever Home

If you’re looking for a loving and energetic companion, Xena might be the perfect match for you! This sweet girl, estimated to be around four years old and weighing 45-50 pounds, is patiently waiting for a family to call her own.

Xena arrived at the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter as a stray alongside another dog, both in need of care and nourishment. While she was friendly with her canine companion, she hasn’t been tested with other dogs, cats, or children yet. However, what we do know is that Xena is full of love and enthusiasm for life! She enjoys getting outside, stretching her legs, and soaking up the sunshine. After a good walk, she’s more than happy to snuggle up and share affection with those around her.

If Xena’s sweet smile is calling your name, don’t wait—come meet her in person! The Spotsylvania Animal Shelter is located just outside Fredericksburg, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more details, visit their website: Spotsylvania Animal Shelter.

Give Xena the loving home she deserves—she’s ready to be your new best friend! ???
