WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Several new stores and a jumbo television screen hoisted high above a street made its debut in Woodbridge this weekend.
Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center held its grand opening welcoming eight new restaurants and shops that are joining a Wegmans grocery store that opened it’s doors inside the shopping center four years ago.
DSW, Golfsmith, Charming Charli, Sport & Health Club, White House Black Market, REI, and restaurants P.F. Changs and Pot Belly Sandwich Shop are open for business. Crowds packed the town center’s streets to find games, prizes, and special attractions Saturday afternoon.
Stonebridge has been billed as a mixed used center and is slated to include new office space, as well as new homes. A new minor league baseball stadium to house the Potomac Nationals could also be built at the center.
Not to be outdone, nearby Potomac Mills mall is also adding new attractions with the addition of an outdoor mall area and new restaurants to include Cheesecake Factory and Bahama Breeze.
