Alicia Marie Robillard, 18, of Spotsylvania, was also taken to Mary Washington Hospital. Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt and was sitting in the lap of one of the car’s occupants.
Hablas the driver was treated and released from the hospital and now faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, reckless driving, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, said Virginia State Police Sgt. Les Tyler.
