DUMFRIES, Va. — With fall on the doorstep, Dumfries will ring in the post-summer season this weekend at Garrison Park behind Town Hall.
The town’s annual Fall Festival begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and goes until 5 p.m. Festival-goers can expect plenty of wine tastings, music, a talent competition, food, and arts and crafts, and product vendors at the fair.
More than 40 vendors are expected to showcase their wares at the community festival. Vendors have been asked to begin arriving in stages starting at 7:15 a.m.
Town officials have kept the names of the vendors a secret but has offered “teasers” of festival vendors and a lineup for the “Dumfries Has Talent” show on the town’s Facebook page, which will be posted through the day of the event.
