Two Males Shot in Woodbridge

UPDATE — From police reports 

Shooting Investigation – On August 28th at 3:36PM, police responded to the 15200 block of Wentwood Ln in Woodbridge (22191) for a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victims, a 20 year old man and a 26 year old man – both of Woodbridge, were involved in an ongoing dispute with the suspects. Shortly before the shooting, the victims encountered the suspects in the Build America Shopping Center where a verbal altercation ensued. Following the argument, the victims returned to an address on Wentwood Ln. The suspects followed the victims and a physical altercation occurred between the victims who were standing in the street and the suspects who remained in the vehicle. At one point, the accused, CLARIDGE, shot the 20 year old victim in the chest. CLARIDGE continued to fire, striking the 26 year old victim in the leg and an unrelated occupied residence in the same block. The suspects, CLARIDGE and TUCKER, were quickly identified by detectives. Both men were located on Heather Glen Ct and arrested without incident. A search warrant was executed at TUCKER’s residence, 1873 Heather Glen Ct. The victims were both flown to an area hospital and are expected to survive. Investigation continues.

Theo Victor CLARIDGE, 21, of 1912 Brooke Farm Ct in Woodbridge

Charged with 2 counts of aggravated malicious wounding, 2 counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony, 1count of shooting from an occupied vehicle and 1 count of shooting into an occupied dwelling

Court date set for October 18, 2012, held WITHOUT bond

 Trevon Antonio TUCKER, 22, of 1873 Heather Glen Ct in Woodbridge

Charged with 2 counts of aggravated malicious wounding

UPDATE

The victims in this double shooting are expected to live, according to police. One unidentified suspect is in police custody, and investigators at 6:30 p.m. were still on the scene. 

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Two men were shot this afternoon on Wentworth Lane in Woodbridge. Police said they knew each other.

Police reported the shooting about 4 p.m. and said both victims were flown to an area hospital. Their conditions were unknown.

Investigators are on the scene, which is just off Blackburn Road near Rippon Middle School.
