Sprouts Farmers Market, the newest grocer to open in Prince William County and the only one of its kind in the region, has been welcomed by crime, said Coles District Supervisor Yesli Vega.

Vega, who attended a ribbon-cutting event for the new store at 8431 Sudley Road near Manassas on May 12, 2023, said several homeless people had entered the store since it began operations and had stolen goods from shelves.  "The newest business in our county has been negatively impacted by not just crime but also homeless folks," said Vega.
