Sitting Coles District Supervisor Yesli Vega, elected in 2019 as the first Hispanic on the Board of County Supervisors, won the GOP nomination for Virginia's 7th Congressional District on Tuesday, June 21. She'll face incumbent Democrat Abigail Spanberger in the November 8 General Election.
Should she beat Spanberger, a Special Election would be held to fill her seat, and the winner would complete the final year of her term.
