WOODBRIDGE, Va. — The good news for Potomac Nationals baseball fans: You can now get Chick-fil-A sandwiches at Pfitzner Stadium. The bad news for Chick-fil-A fans: You still can’t get them on Sundays.
The minor league baseball club in Woodbridge made the announcement this week on their Facebook page that the famous chicken sandwiches would be sold at the stadium this season. That sparked comments and questions from fans, prompting the team to address the no Chick-fil-A on Sundays rule.
“Thanks for all the positive feedback, we are excited to have them on site all summer except for Sundays. Go PNats!,” a stated the page.
Why no Chick-fil-A on Sundays? We can assume the sandwich stand at the stadium will follow the same rules as regular their Chick-fil-A fast food restaurant counterparts. No Chick-fil-A restaurant is open Sundays, as the restaurant’s founder wanted workers to spend time with family or friends, or to worship.
The announcement comes after the Chick-fil-A company recognized their restaurant on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge as the top grossing restaurant in the fast food chain. In addition to locations in Woodbridge and in North Stafford, the company will open a new store in Springfield on April 27.
