Elected officials in Dumfries have voted to give themselves a raise each year for the past three years.
And they're on track to do it again.
On Tuesday, the Town Council will hold a public hearing on a proposal by Vice Mayor Monae Nickerson to hike the salaries of elected officials to $18,000 a year for the mayor, $15,000 per year for the Vice Mayor, and $15,000 for each of the remaining five council members.
