Five people were arrested on numerous charges following a traffic stop.
On Thursday, November 26 at 9:43 a.m., Deputy G.W. Gildea stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of Warrenton Road.
The deputy obtained the identity of the driver and passengers inside the vehicle, and the deputy determined three passengers had provided him a false identity, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Using law enforcement databases, Deputy Gildea determined the passengers’ true identities to be Aaron Gilley, Caitlin Elsey, and Todd Fortune. A fourth passenger was identified as Kayla Haley and the driver was identified as Patrick Mills, a spokeswoman said.
Controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were found in various areas inside the vehicle. A machete was found in between the driver’s seat and center console. A safe belonging to Mills was discovered as well. The safe contained digital scales and baggies containing controlled substances.
