Chad Michael Bailey

Chad Michael Bailey, age 42, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2020 in Annandale, Virginia.  He was born in Cooperstown, New York on September 14, 1977 and was a graduate of George Mason High School in Falls Church, Virginia.  Chad leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughter Logan Kalyce Herrin and son Michael Sean Bailey; his mother Lisa Doyle; his sister Victoria Cox and husband Chad Cox; his brothers Jordan Doyle and Ryan Bailey; his grandmother Ann Kocuba and husband Stephen; his grandmother Marjorie Ranger; his uncle Todd Ranger; his aunt Kelley Tripple and cousins Jacob Tripple and Andrew Tripple; his nephews Chad Cox, Jr. and Wyatt Cox; his great-uncle Donald Ranger; and his close friends Jonathan J. Evans, Bernie Hernandez, Jason Bell (Bizzy), and Mirella Ruiz and husband Rene Ruiz.

Chad is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Bailey; his grandfather Robert Ranger; his uncle John Brooks; and close friend Joel Wilson.

Chad was a fun loving, talented man with a friendly and engaging personality and he will be missed by many.  He was so proud of and loved his children with all his heart.  Chad was very artistic and loved to draw.  He had dreams of starting his own business selling his designs.  He lived each day to the fullest through simple pleasures and enjoyed gatherings with his friends, weekly dinners with his mother, and loved nature walks where he would feed birds and explore.  Chad was a generous person and was always willing to help his friends and others who needed assistance.   Chad loved clothing and shoes and had a large collection of items which over the years he freely gave away to friends and others who needed them.  In the last few years, Chad’s family was grateful that he was with them to help plan and attend his sister’s wedding and go on family vacations to Virginia Beach where he said he had the best days of his life and was able to spend time with his daughter Logan.

A private family service was held at Mountcastle Turch funeral home in Dale City, Virginia on March 31st.  A Celebration of Life event will be planned in late summer or early fall 2020 to honor Chad.  At the time of the event the family will communicate information for those who wish to donate funds to his children in lieu of flowers.  His final resting place will be in Little Falls, New York at Mountain View Cemetery.  The immediate family wishes to thank all family members and friends who have sent condolences and offered support; Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home in Dale City, Virginia; and Mohawk Valley Funeral Home in Little Falls, New York.
