A bicyclist was struck on Route 17 at noon today.
The male bicyclist was riding in the area of Falls Run Drive, near the Carters Crossing West shopping center anchored by Target, when he was struck by an SUV.
The driver of the SUV remained on the scene, said Stafford sheriff’s spokeswoman Amanda Vicinanzo.
Rescue crews were called to the scene and said the suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
