Alice Flory Lund, age 87 of Manassas, VA died at her residence on July 4, 2019.
She was born in Nokesville, VA on July 26, 1931, daughter of the late Walter L. Flory and A. LaVerne Lokey Flory. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Allison W. Lund; her brother H. Lee Flory and her sister Lois F. Batschelet.
She is survived by her children Walter S. Lund and wife Sandra S. Lund and Karen L. Burton and partner Wayne Martin: her grandchildren Aaron C. Lund and Michael W. Lund; her step grandchildren Alan Shumate and Samantha Foster; her great grandchildren Landon Lund, Elliott Lund, Eva Lund and Eleanor Lund and her step great grandchildren Peyton Shumate, Noah Shumate, Riley Cook and Austin Foster.
The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Nokesville Church of the Brethren, 13002 Fitzwater Drive, Nokesville, VA. Interment Valley View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations in her memory be made to Nokesville Church of the Brethren or the charity of your choice.
